Privacy Policy
Tutine is designed as a privacy-focused health tracking application. This policy explains what information the Tutine Android app handles, how that information is used, and what happens when you choose to export or share it.
1. Information you choose to record
Depending on the modules you enable, Tutine can store health information that you enter, such as blood pressure, heart rate, weight, oxygen saturation (SpO₂), blood glucose, and other optional context that you choose to add, such as notes or health-related records supported by the app. If you choose to configure them, Tutine can also store reminder settings and doctor contact details such as a doctor’s email address.
2. Where app data is stored
Tutine is designed to keep its primary personal health records locally on your Android device. Tutine does not require those health records to be uploaded to a Tutine-operated cloud account in order to provide the app's normal tracking, trend and Insight functions.
3. Tutine Insight
Tutine Insight analyses the health information available in the app to create personal pattern summaries and related context. This processing is designed to take place on the device. The results are informational and are not a medical diagnosis.
4. Reports, backup and sharing
When you choose to create a PDF report or backup, Tutine creates a file from the information you selected. A report can be saved or downloaded, printed, or shared by email. If you use the doctor-sharing function, Tutine can use the doctor email address you saved to prepare an email with the selected PDF attached. Sending is then handled through the email application or service you choose. Any file that you save, print, share or send may therefore leave Tutine and be processed by the selected Android feature, email provider, storage provider, printing service or other third party under that party’s own terms and privacy policy.
5. Data retention and deletion
Data stored inside Tutine remains on the device until you delete the relevant records, reset the relevant local data, uninstall the app, or otherwise remove the app's local storage. Exported backup files and reports remain wherever you chose to save or share them until you delete them from that location.
6. Advertising, sale of data and profiling
Tutine does not sell your personal health records. Tutine does not use your health records to create an advertising profile. The tutine.app website does not contain third-party advertising, analytics or tracking scripts.
7. Website technical logs
The web server that hosts tutine.app may create standard technical access or security logs, for example an IP address, request time and requested page. These logs are used only for technical operation, security and maintenance of the website and are not used to build an advertising profile.
8. Security
Tutine uses the security features available on the Android device and is designed to minimise unnecessary transfer of health records. No software or storage method can guarantee absolute security, so users should also protect their device and any exported files appropriately.
9. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when Tutine's functionality changes. The current version will always be published on this page with its update date.
10. Contact
Questions about privacy can be sent to privacy@tutine.app.
